VOICES OF PHOTOGRAPHY 撮影之聲

『撮影之聲』(Voices of Photography)は台湾発の写真雑誌です。同誌はインディペンデント誌として、2011年9月に創刊して以来、毎号異なるテーマに沿った写真作品を取り上げ、国内外の写真家、ビデオアーティスト、映像作家などを紹介しています。また作家、パブリッシャー、キュレーターといったアート関係者の対談やインタビューを通して、写真または映像表現における創作概念、文化、歴史からトレンドを読み解いていきます。紹介される写真家たちも台湾国内だけではなく中国、日本、その他海外の作家など幅広く、国際的な視野で取り上げているのが特徴です。発行人・李威儀氏が毎号打ち出すエッジの効いたテーマは写真を見る事についての新たな思考を促します。その他台湾の写真史についての論考やコラム、今話題の写真集や展覧会情報の紹介、評論家へのインタビューなど充実した内容です。VOICES OF PHOTOGRAPHYは現在世界中にその読者を持つ雑誌へと急成長し続けています。2013年には台湾国内の出版業界で卓越した編集者に授与される金鼎獎の雑誌部門ベスト編集長賞を李氏は本誌によって受賞しています。

VOICES OF PHOTOGRAPHY is an independent magazine based in Taiwan since 2011 in September. Introducing photographers and their works of photography according to its subject varied with each issues, trying to draw out the intent of the works through the format of dialogue, aiming to search the creative concept in the world of photography art, as well as its relative trend of thought and culture. Featured artists are not only from Taiwan but also from China, Japan and from overseas. With an ambition to cover a wide range of international artists, the founder Wei-i Lee incisively set forth theme for each issue, thus always bring and stimulate new thoughts concerning how to see photographs. In addition to that, there are discussions and columns about the history of photography in Taiwan, introduction of most noticed photography books and exhibitions information, interviews with critics and so forth. VOICES OF PHOTOGRAPHY is growing rapidly now and supported by the readers all over the world. In 2013, Wei-i Lee received the Golden Tripod Award for the best magazine editor, which is recognized as the great honer for editors in publishing industry in Taiwan.
