Cherry blossoms are very popular plants for Japanese people, but they are also a subject that many photographers have approached and photographed using various techniques. Therefore, the photographer's skill is tested by how they are captured. Photographer Katsumi Omori has been following cherry blossoms around Japan since around 2000, and as a result, he has come to see the bare cherry blossoms as original plants, freed from meaning, as a botanical beauty in themselves. Although it is a modest 28 pages, the book is bound in a double-page layout to express a sense of scale, and the printing is done using ultra-high-definition printing, the highest quality technology, making it a luxurious book that is as close to a print as possible.
