Osaka, the place where photographer Shunji Dodo spent half a century. He began taking photographs after turning 60 in 2007 and continued until 2010. This photobook is a collection of places that hold special memories for him, recalling those times. The photographer says that the challenge was to communicate with his subjects using his 8x10 large-format camera and to approach them with flexibility. Local photographers are necessary to record and remember the ever-changing landscapes of Japanese cities like this. The book also includes a contribution by Seiichi Washida at the end. Signed copy.
