Wolfgang Tillmans was born in Germany in 1968. He studied at the Bournemouth and Poole School of Art and Design in the early 1990s and has since exhibited his work in major exhibitions around the world. In 2000, he won the British Turner Prize, the most prestigious award given to contemporary artists. This book is an exhibition catalog produced when it toured the United States from 2006 to 2007. This was his first retrospective exhibition in America.
