Kazumi Kurigami was born and raised in Furano, Hokkaido, a small basin surrounded by beautiful mountains inland of Hokkaido. In the summer of his first year of junior high school, his mother died, and in the summer of his 12th year, he had a hunch that he would escape from this land. In the spring of his 24th year, he traveled to Tokyo on the Seikan ferry to study photography. You know what he did after that. However, when his father passed away, he suddenly wanted to see the northern sea and traveled to Hokkaido, when he turned 58. His mother dies, his grandfather dies, his father dies, everything disappears, and the landscape changes. This photo collection is a record for confirming what he will shoot when he opens all his senses as a traveler. Comes with a separate pamphlet containing a dialogue between Mr. Kurigami and Nobuyoshi Araki. Signed with a dedication to a certain art director.
