Hiroh Kikai, a photographer known for his portraits of people he met in Asakusa. I think that the same thing can be applied to landscape photography if the portrait can not only capture the facial expression of the person at that time but also express the inner character and personality such as the way of coming and the sense of values. This book is composed of 21 photographs of the series "Tokyo Polka" serialized in the monthly "Soshi" and "Web Soshi", which was added to the series of photographs that I started taking in 1973. A mysterious space where you can feel the signs of people even though there should be no people. Mr. Kikai explains that he tried to establish a "portrait of space".
