This book is a collection of photographs taken in and around Tokyo by photographer Seiji Kurata from 1975 to 1979. It was his first photobook. In the summer of 1979, the summer of 1979, when the heat was on record, he reviewed his four years' worth of contact sheets, and after sorting out, the ones who gathered were "yakuza," "right-wingers," "gays," and "runners." It was a yakuza substitute. The torrent of urban customs taken by a photographer who rushed into the city to keep up with miscellaneous phenomena. At the end of the book, there are discussions by Hiroshi Ueno, Kazuo Nishii (1946-2001), and Akira Hasegawa (in English) (1949-2014). Shomei Tomatsu (1930-2012), Daido Moriyama, and Nobuyoshi Araki contributed to the obi text. Winner of the 5th Kimura Ihei Photography Award.
