After graduating from Yale University in 1961, Peter Beard moved to Kenya after being fascinated by Africa. This book is a new edition of his first photo book "THE END OF THE GAME" published in 1965. This is a masterpiece that has gone through numerous editions, but this is a new edition published by TASCHEN in Germany. This is his representative work that presents the relationship between humans and wild animals through photographs and text, with the theme of overhunted African elephants. Considering that the understanding of environmental protection was not as advanced as it is today, it can be said that this is a pioneering collection of photographs.
