Bruno Munari (1907-1998) is one of Italy's leading artists who left behind a huge body of work, with numerous titles such as graphic design, product design, picture book author, artist, and educator. This book is Bruno Munari's playful tale of the possibilities of creating an underground city with lush roofs and meadows. His thoughts are reflected in the pictures of herbs and green plants drawn by junior high school students. The design that removes insects from the holes in the cover is interesting. The first edition was in 1993, but this is a reissue from 1998.
