Belgian artist Marcel Broodthaers (1924-1976) started out as a poet, but from 1964 he produced a wide range of works, including objects, photography, short films, open letters, and published writings. This book was produced in conjunction with an exhibition held at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, USA in 1989. This exhibition was the first opportunity for Americans to learn about Broodthaers' life and work. It is a comprehensive book, including photographs and works.
