The fourth issue of the free paper "UNIQLO PAPER" was published when UNIQLO opened its flagship store in Soho, New York in 2006. It was a catalog of the company's products, but the contents were completely unexpected. It included interviews with the editor, a Japanese dance geisha, photographer Nigel Shafran, and Dashwood Books founder David Strettell, and the fashion pages were styled by Nicola Formichetti and Sabina Schreder, and featured Tadanobu Asano and Chloe Sevigny as models (with interviews with them). As expected from Tadashi Yanai, who was enthusiastic about making this a "touchstone for global expansion," the content of the issue is beyond that of a free paper. There is also a shot of Asano and Chloe together in the large-format flyer for UT, which was printed separately.
