Photographer Nogami Masahiro, who returned from the United States, and designer Takahashi Masami, under the name "CLOWN", documented Shibuya in 1999, at the height of gal culture. The two approached and photographed Ko-gals and Ganguro-gals on the streets and in buildings around Shibuya 109, which has produced many talented salespeople. Of the photographs included in the main text, the square format was taken by Nogami and the 35mm by Takahashi. This book can be positioned as a very meaningful street observation study, both in terms of fashion such as makeup and clothing, and from a folkloric perspective. Signed by both authors.
