Flowers have always been a subject that attracts photographers' interest, but perhaps they are also special to Araki Nobuyoshi. He continued to photograph flowers, moving from monochrome to color, and finally became obsessed with photography by painting the flowers themselves with layers of primary colored Liquitex. The flowers, with their makeup applied to them after death, are eerie and emit a light never before seen. At the end of the book, there is a conversation about flowers between Araki Nobuyoshi and Moriyama Daido. Araki's signature is on the box.
