Photobook by Swiss-American photographer Rudy Burckhardt (1914-1999). A copy of a photobook created with the poet Edwin Denby (1903-1983) when he moved from Switzerland to the United States in 1935. You can see the streets of New York in the 1930s. In terms of photographs taken from the viewpoint of immigrants, it may be possible to explore the differences with Robert Frank (1924-2019), also from Switzerland.
