In India, from small villages to big cities, there is no place that does not have a road named after Mahatma Gandhi, the father of Indian independence. MG Road is no exception and is one of the main streets in Ahmedabad. Heidi Specker walked up and down this road at least once a day during her four-week stay in India. As a result, she created this book from 27 photographs, just as Gandhi encouraged people to weave clothes for independence. The photographs are not bound but stand alone on 27 sheets and are stored in the original case.
