"THE BLACKBIRD HAS LOST ITS BEAK" is a visual interpretation of the famous folk song that emerged from a 1940 project by Bruno Munari. Originally published in 1987, this is a 2003 reprint produced by Maurizio Corraini in Italy. Silkscreened transparent plastic sheets mimic the blackbird's disassembly and reassembly, accompanying its movements. Part book and part game, the book allows readers to explore the song by flipping through the pictures.
