A photo book by British photographer Stephen Gill. This book was born by continuing to photograph the places where Gill left off during his photo book "Hackney Wick," which was a big hit at the time. The area in northeast London is very important to him. Continuing to use a 50-pence camera he bought at a market in Hackney Wick, Gill focuses on things that do not yet exist, extracting traces and clues of various things. In preparation for the 2012 London Olympics, the area is rapidly changing, and Gill captures the suspended places in a poetic, sometimes eerie and quiet way. The position of the red ink varies depending on the cover, and the endpapers are made of lino prints designed by Gill himself, making for an elaborate binding.
