Chan Wai Kwong is a Hong Kong-born photographer. He enrolled at the Hong Kong New Law College in 1988 but dropped out the following year. Since 2010, he has been exhibiting his work solo and publishing photo books. In 2012, he received the WYNG Special Photography Award for his work on poverty. His basic photography style involves strolling around the rapidly changing streets of Hong Kong, taking snapshots. He produces his own photo books each time and earns his living by selling them. He has no concept of out-of-print works. Therefore, the quality of the paper and the color tone vary intriguingly depending on the year of production. This book is completely unbound, and among the printed plates, there are five original prints attached to a mount. As always, his signature style is unconceptual photography, but as a photographer whose life is directly connected to taking photographs, there is a natural and sensible reason for him to compile and share his accumulated photographs. Signed.
