Fritz Kuhn (1910-1967) trained as an artist and blacksmith, and in 1937 opened his studio and workshop in Berlin. In 1947, he published his first collection of photographs, "10 Jahre Kunstschmiede Fritz Kuhn," clearly demonstrating his pursuit of iron as an artistic material. After the division of Germany after the war, Kuhn received the East German State Medal of Merit for his artistic work in the field of architectural decoration. This book is both an important and a culmination of his work. With captivating black-and-white photographs, editorials with beautiful page flow and layout, and beautiful printing, this is a highly refined photobook.
