This book is a collaboration between illustrator Eizin Suzuki and singer-songwriter Tatsuro Yamashita. Suzuki, who transitioned from being a designer and art director to an illustrator in the 1980s and distinguished himself by establishing a unique technique called Pantone overlay, lays out lyrics from Tatsuro Yamashita's songs on his illustrations. The motifs, based on foreign landscapes, and the vibrant colors create a very pleasing visual effect. Along with Hiroshi Nagai, Suzuki is one of the illustrators who symbolized the era.
