There are countless photographers who have been captivated by the charm of flowers, such as Irving Penn and Robert Mapplethorpe, and Takahashi Kyoji is one of them. This photographer, who has been active since the 1990s, published a photo book featuring simple flowers in 2022, after the COVID-19 pandemic. The art director was Christophe Brankel, known for his work on Purple. The book comes in a special edition, with Takahashi's signature and illustration printed on the surface of the packaging, rather than on the photo book itself.
