A monograph by Michael Kenna, a master of landscape photography with beautiful black and white tranquility. He is more interested in capturing invisible lines surrounding space than in accurately describing places. By doing so, it evokes the imagination and dreaminess of the viewer. The book contains 290 black-and-white photographs. 200 of them trace the artist's career through nearly 30 years of photography, beginning with early 1970s photographs taken in England and resulting from travels and commissions on every continent around the world.
